Priest's Crown

A weed is any plant in the wrong place.

Dandelion means "lion's tooth."
It is also known as "piss-a-bed," apparently because
 it grows on sidewalks.
It's also called Mole's salad, Blowing flower, dog milk,
child's chain grass, butter flower, priest's
crown, swine's snout, rose worm.
Taraxacum officinale, to be precise.

The leaves are good in salad. The flowers can be used to make wine.
The roots can make coffee.

Medicinally, it can supposedly detox your liver and be a diuretic.
Wart removal. Whatever.

Dandelion don't tell no lies.
1967.
Good year for dandelions.
